The Center for Reproductive Health Sciences research laboratories investigate a wide range of scientific questions. Our faculty are leaders in topics such as oocyte quality, the role of ion channels and receptors in smooth muscle excitability, interventions for dysfunctional uterine contractility, immunobiological pathways in pregnancy complications, membrane excitability during fertilization, and novel treatments for patients with gynecologic cancers. They use innovative imaging and engineering technologies to enhance diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.
